K R Anuraj who draws under the nom-de-plume of  ‘ANU’ was born on 9th December 1987, at Payyanur, Kannur as the son of K.Raghavan and Rugmini. He is a bachelor.

He has worked with Thejas Daily. He is presently an Exicutive Member of Kerala Cartoon Academy. He’s a good Maya Animator and is presently teaching Maya.  He has taken an Advanced Diploma In Character Animation. He has a  Cartoon Column named  ‘Once Up On a Time’
He has also worked 1 year as staff cartoonist in Thejus Daily,
as also  in IADS ( International Academy for Design Science ),  Ernakulam  He is  now he is working as an Animator.
