Thomas Burleigh Kurishingal (1 September 1932^[– 16 December 2024), better known as Thomas Berly, was an Cartoonist, Indian actor, director, producer, script writer, music composer in Malayalam cinema, and author in English.Thomas Burleigh Kurishingal who draws under the nom-de-plume ‘THOMAS KURISHINGAL’ was born on 1st September 1932, at Fort Cochin as the son of K J Burleigh and Annie Burleigh. He is married to Sophy Thomas. He has three children, Tanya, Tarun and Tamina. Berly died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ernakulam, on 16 December 2024, at the age of 92.
