Balakrishnan
K Anat who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘Balakrishnan KA’ was born on 24th December 1965, at Kodungallur as
the son of P.K.Menon and Mahalakshmy .K .Menon. He is married to Latha Balakrishnan.
He has two children, Krishna and Varna
He the holder of an M.Sc and MAeSI
degrees . He is also a Member of the Aeronautical Society of India. He
has bagged innumerable prizes for sketching, painting and photography both at
the university and the state level competitions. After his graduation he
freelanced as cartoonist and photographer for leading dailies like The Malayala
Manorama, The Hindu and The Telegraph. After a gap of almost 20 years
Balakrishnan has returned to the field of cartooning and is freelancing to
columns in different publications including international aviation magazines
He
runs a Cartoon Column on Aviation named "The Last Words
" in The Airports International Magazine. He retired from Air traffic Controller in Airports Authority of India, Chennai.
