Denilal who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘DENILAL’ was born at Kozhikkode as the son of Kunhi Kannan and Dakshayani. He is a bachelor.
He is a PG in sociology, and a PG in Visual Communication and
Has a Diploma in fine arts. At present he works as a Creative manager.
Apart from that he worked in Indian Express Bangalore as designer/Illustrator, Macmillan Bangalore as designer, and cartoonist for Varthamanam daily
Many of his cartoons have been published in Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Indian Express, Deshabhimani and Varthaamanam
He is presently the Creative Manager, Toonz Retail India Pvt Ltd,
12th B main Indira Nagar, Bangalore
He lives now at Naranath Meethal, Nochad PO, Naduvannur via, Calicut.
