P R Bijuchandran who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘BIJUCHANDRAN’ was born on 4th May, 1974, at Adoor as the son of N Ramachandran and Umayamma. He is married to Smitha. He has one child named Prarthana.
He has a B.S.L degree and also an L.L.B degree . He now practices as an advocate.
He is the recipient of ‘U M O’ – An International Cartoon Award
He is also the chief cartoonist in 'THE VERDICT" weekly ( Mumbai), editor and administrator of the blog ‘World cartOOnists’, founder of "CHIRICHEPPU" cartoon magazine. and author of Bilingual Cartoons (a cartoon series for children)
At present he lives at Palathadathil House,Paranthal.P.O,Mithrpuram, Pathanamthitta District
