Satheesh Vellinazhi

Satheesh Vellinezhi was born on the 25th May 1973. works as Deputy Chief Designer with The Hindu, India’s National Newspaper. He took his Bachelor of Fine Arts(BFA) degree from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram in 1996. This genial looking water colour specialist has a 14 year rich experience in designing in various media organizations as designer and during 1997-99, in various films like Aakashaganga, Ilavankodudesham, Kalyanasaugandhikam, as Asst. Art Director and in the award winning ‘Kazhakam” as independent Art Director . In 1995-96, designed and created illustrations for   teacher’s handbooks for the much discussed DPEP project implemented in Kerala schools.

He has throughout been keeping on experimenting with various media like oil, acrylic and cement.

For 2002-05, he worked as a visualiser  with The New Indian Express, Kochi.

With 'The Hindu' since 2005, he is at present the Deputy Chief Designer.

Satheesh has his permanent address at Pattisseri, Vellinezhi Post, Palackad, PIN 679 504 . He lives at  P B1, Sreelakam, Gouri Grounds, Perumanathazham Road, Ponekkara, Edappally- 682041 Kochi, Kerala
