Anjan Satish who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘ANJAN’ was born on 29th September, 1987, at
Ernakulam as the son of Satheesh and Lethika.
Anjan learnt 3D animation at the Toons, Trivandrum. Now, he is member of the faculty
in art and computer at the Adarsh
Special School,
Tripunithura.
Anjan, in spite of being severely physically challenged – he has
cerebral palsy that impaires his speech-hearing-locomotive functions
considerably – young man from
Thripunithura had already bagged Amrita Keerthy Puraskaaram (Amritanandamayi
Math) at the age of 8, Rotary International Special Talent Award (2001), Medal
in Art at the National Abylimpics, Chennai (2005). However, his greatest
moments were with the Indian President Dr. Abdul Kalam (2006) and at the Kerala
High Court in 2009 (The first artist to hold an exhibition inside the High
Court and, to get a Full Court Honour !).
Anjan stays with his parents and brother at ‘Anjanam’, Keerthi
Nagar, Kannankulangara, Thripunithura, Ernakulam-682301
