Amal who draws under the nom-de-plume of ‘AMAL PIRAPPANCODE’ was born on 20th November 1986, at Trivandrum as the son of Maniraj P and Baby. He is a bachelor.
He holds a BFA in painting and is currently doing his MFA in History of Art.
He is not yet employed but is concentrating on his studies.
He bagged a KCA award, a pu.ka.sa award, and also a Salabhamela puraskaram. He has a collection of his cartoon’s, Mullu, Go straight (silent cartoons), published by the Art History Department of Kalabhavan, Santiniketan in Bengal.
He now lives at Thenguvila veedu, Pirappancodu p o, Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram.
